Guantanamo Bay A Vacation Compared to Most American Prisons
President Trump wants to send violent illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or criminal history to Cuba.
Most modern American prisons are worse than anything federal jailors can throw at them. In fact, these criminal migrants would consider incarceration at Guantanamo Bay a vacation.
In most American Correction Facilities inmates are forced into dog cages for recreation and fresh air. In the level 6 Souza-Baranowski Correction Center, prisoners are limited to a ''recreation deck'' enclosed within chain link fence about 20x20.
Inmates exist within the confines of cellblocks with no movement, programs, library or essential services like barber shop.
California prisoners get two small meals and a snack. Violence and gang culture is inhumane. Spanish is the loud language of most modern American prisons.
Certainly, most Americans can't look into these guarded prisons. And, in truth, these institutions are scary places. They are designed as deterrents. But, they are also training grounds for gang culture. Gangs from Latin and South America, the Middle East; Radical Islamic Fundamentalism and other foreign ideology recruit in these American prisons.
Prisoners living in these Correction Facilities see the problem. Over decades Latin America, South American and Mexican gangs have grown exponentially in United States Correction Facilities. There is a remarkable contempt for culture and society in the United States from foreign criminal gangs. This is widely known.
The decision to export criminal migrants, incarcerated foreign nationals or other undesirable foreign nationals to Guantanamo is a good policy. Exporting and deporting criminal immigrants is an ancient practice. Right now Sweden is planning to export its criminals because prisons in Sweden are full. These criminals are majority migrants from Middle East countries and Africa.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons will develop detention centers on Guantanamo. These will be institutions resembling modern medium security institutions. Detainees will get plenty of sunshine.
